Candelilla wax is a natural, plant-based wax derived from the leaves of the candelilla shrub (Euphorbia antisyphilitica), a native of northern Mexico and the southwestern United States, known for its hard, brittle, and yellowish-brown appearance, and used as a vegan alternative to beeswax. 

     Uses:

     Cosmetics: Used in lip balms, lipsticks, creams, and lotions, providing texture,  

     stability, and emollient properties. 

     Food: Used as a glazing agent and binder in chewing gums, and as a substitute for

     Carnauba wax and beeswax in food systems. 

     Other Industries: Used in polishes, paints, inks, waterproofing, and carbon paper.
